Emergency Preparedness, Disaster Relief, and Community Safety Resources

About the American Red Cross

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States. Founded in 1881, the Red Cross works to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies.

In partnership with Round Valley Indian Health Center, the Red Cross brings vital programs and services directly to our community in Covelo, including free home fire safety installations and community preparedness initiatives.
