Suggested Emergency Items
- Sturdy leash, harness, collar, and/or carrier for safe transport
- Pet food, water, bowls, and manual can opener
- Cat litter/pan or dog waste bags
- Current identification tags
- Portable pet bed or blanket and toys
- Pet coat for short haired pets
- Collapsible crate for secure sleeping space
- Waterproof copies of medications/medical records
- Current vaccination records
- Pet first aid kit
- Recent photos of you with your pet for identification
- Feeding schedule, medical conditions, behavior notes, and vet contact info
